Art in the Lobby
"Adirondack Images," an exhibition of oils and pastels by wildlife artist Milton Franson will be showing through the end of the year.
Wildlife artist, Milton Norman Franson began his career painting detailed portraits of wild fish, fowl and fauna in their natural habitats, gradually adding other genres, especially landscapes featuring water in one form or another. Many recent paintings include canoeists – from native Americans to present day kayakers and canoeists. Other subjects range from Americana to flower portraits. The artist's media range from oils and acrylics to pastels and watercolors, in a technique that often features a detailed focal point or subject, surrounded by a background that can be loose and moodily impressionistic or more tightly detailed, depending on the nature of the subject. http://www.mfransonart.com/
