If you're having a problem with technology, then we have good news for you: in addition to being available for help on an appointment basis, our tech guru Mr G is now available on a regular basis for drop-in help on a first-come, first-served basis.
He can handle a lot of things, but he doesn't do Windows 8... yet.
We are holding a food drive for the Inter-Religious Food Consortium from November 10-24. There is a barrel in the library to drop items off.

Christmas Bureau Toy Drive

The Value of Having Native Plants in our Yards

A video presentation by Doug Tallamy. Tallamy is the author of the award-winning book Bringing Nature Home: How Native Plants Sustain Wildlife in Our Garden and of a new book The Living Landscape: Designing for Beauty and Biodiversity in the Home Garden, co-authored with Rick Darke, a horticulturist.

Ballantyne Gardens will teach participants how to create wreaths from fresh greenery. There is $18 materials fee per person due the day of the program. It includes the frame, greens, and materials for decorating. Space is limited, so registration is required. Click on the date above to register!
