March Madness is coming!
For four weeks, patrons will have the opportunity to go online here or come into the library and vote for their favorite books. Voters who enter their name and contact info in the form will also be eligible to win a prize package to be selected at random from all participants.
Drop In Tech Time
If you're having a problem with technology, then we have good news for you: in addition to being available for help on an appointment basis, our tech guru Mr G is now available on a regular basis for drop-in help on a first-come, first-served basis on the following dates from 2-5pm:

Speaking for Themselves: The Women of the Seward Family
Thursday, March 12
7PM • Carman Community Room
A glimpse into the compelling lives of the women who impacted the life of William Henry Seward, the Secretary of State under Presidents Lincoln and Johnson, through personal diaries and letters that show their insight into gender relations, politics, and social customs in the antebellum and Civil War periods. Presented by John Kingsley, Seward House Director of Education. Free, no reservations are required.
All About Taxes and e-filing!
The library is a site for the NYS Dept. of Tax and Finance's Facilitated Self-Assisted Tax Preparation.
February 16 through April 15
Mondays from 3-7pm, Tuesdays 6-8pm, and Fridays from 3-5pm
If your income is below $60,000, you can come to the library and e-file your federal and state returns for free. Someone from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance will be on hand to answer questions and help guide you through the filing process using one of their computers.
