Habitat Gardening in CNY

Greg McGee, Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental and Forest Biology of SUNY ESF. Dr. McGee will update us on the project he has been working on – a native wildflower restoration at Guppy Falls at the Skaneateles Conservation Area. His team is investigating why native wildflowers did not seem to grow in areas that had been used as farmland, although they grew in land immediately adjacent to it. Visit hgcny.org for more info.

Lend a helping paw! There will be a collection barrel for canned dog and cat food, toys, cleaning supplies - especially laundry detergent - and used, clean towels, sheets, blankets & comforters. Geek Squad Academy For Ages 10-18
Liverpool Public Library and the Liverpool Central School District are bringing the two-day Geek Squad Academy to Liverpool for students ages 10-18.

Finger Lakes Wine Country Comes to the Library
