Library Director Glenna Wisniewski encourages the folks she sees around the LPL and the Liverpool community to complete five simple tasks a week to become more fit, feel healthier ... and win prizes, too.
Each week begins with the goal of walking 60 minutes and ends with the bonus step of adding two hours of walking time. In between are steps such as Have a meatless day or relax at the Adult Coloring Program (July 16 at 1 pm).
Participants who complete a week can bring the checklist to the LPL adult info desk to receive a raffle ticket and a prize. All the raffle tickets collected by Sept. 3 will be eligible for a drawing for big prizes, with sponsorship by Wegmans.
