Welcome to the Book Nook! Whatever your reading pleasure or fancy, the Book Nook will bring you suggestions and reviews to spin off ideas for your next book to read.

Books By Delivery

booksbydelDo you enjoy reading, but are unable to come into the library?

Consider trying our Books by Delivery service. You can choose from a selection of regular print books, large print books, DVD’s, and audiobooks and have them delivered right to your doorstep.

To qualify for Book By Delivery:
• Patrons must be residents of the Liverpool Central School District.
• Patrons must have a disability or condition that restricts their ability to leave their home and come into the library (homebound) or be a senior citizen non-driver.

Once your application is completed, a library staff member will contact you to discuss your needs and interests and, if necessary, register you for a library card.
After you are accepted into the program, a library employee will deliver materials to your door. Every four weeks we will pick up materials and deliver new ones.

Overdue fines generally are not charged but you are responsible for lost or damaged materials.

This is Your Lucky Day!

lucky-day-collectionCheck out our Lucky Day Collection! The Lucky Day table is stocked with multiple copies of popular, high demand, best-seller books, both fiction and nonfiction.

The books are available on a first come basis. They can not be placed on hold or sent to another library. The check-out period is one week, but you can renew it once for another week. Limit of three Lucky Day items per person.

Large Print Lucky Day books are available in the Large Print section.

Each bag includes 12 paperback copies of a single title, an author biography and interview, a list of discussion questions, and other materials that can be checked out for six weeks.

Food Choices: Making it Easier to be Green!

Call it being green, eco-friendly, or just plain healthy. Have a look at Food Choices , a list of books about growing or finding fresh and local foods. These books are available locally right at Liverpool Public Library. Place holds now from the list or visit the library stacks to "pick your own."
