New Update for 3M Cloud App for iPhone/iPad/iPod
A 3M Cloud eReader app update is now available from the Apple iTunes App Store (November 14, 2013).This update will correct an issue with the 3M Cloud Library iOS App freezing after checking out a new ebook.When you update the app on your device, you will need to login again to your library account, selecting Liverpool Public Library and entering your library card number and PIN.
If you experience the "freezing" issue, you will need to reset your device by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Once the device is restarted, you will be able to access the ebook without any further issues.
With an update to the app in July 2013, the font size can now be increased up to 25 times the original size, making reading easier on the iOS devices. The Release Notes, version 1.37.1 contain more information about Email/Facebook/Twitter integration and audio reading of ebooks through the iPad Voice Over features.
Version 1.39 was released in mid-September, and fixed a problem with the app crashing on some iOS devices.
