Welcome to the 3M Cloud Library
The 3M Cloud Library makes borrowing eBooks fast and easy. Liverpool Public Library is the first library in New York State to offer the 3M Cloud Library to its patrons.
To get started, you will need to download the free 3M Cloud Library app for your device below, or visit the 3M Cloud Library Help Page.
TIP: When prompted for your User Name, enter your 14 digit library card number.
When prompted for your Password, enter your 4 digit PIN.
Do you have a supported wireless device with the 3M Cloud app on it?
You can use the 3M Discovery Station in the library to browse Liverpool's 3M Cloud Library collections and check out or reserve items. You can also select and check out 3M Cloud titles from the Polaris Catalog. The next time you launch the 3M app on your wireless device, your selections will appear, ready to read. You don't even have to have the device with you to make your selection.
NEW!!! Patrons may now check out up to 3 eBooks at a time from 3M Cloud. eBooks are checked out for a 21 day loan period, but may be returned early at any time. A patron may have up to 2 3M Cloud eBooks on hold at one time. When a hold list item becomes available, it remains reserved for a 3 day period, awaiting checkout by the person who placed the hold.
New Update for 3M Cloud App for iPhone/iPad/iPod
A 3M Cloud eReader app update is now available from the Apple iTunes App Store (November 14, 2013).This update will correct an issue with the 3M Cloud Library iOS App freezing after checking out a new ebook. When you update the app on your device, you will need to login again to your library account, selecting Liverpool Public Library and entering your library card number and PIN.
If you experience the "freezing" issue, you will need to reset your device by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Once the device is restarted, you will be able to access the ebook without any further issues.
With an update to the app in July 2013, the font size can now be increased up to 25 times the original size, making reading easier on the iOS devices. The Release Notes, version 1.37.1 contain more information about Email/Facebook/Twitter integration and audio reading of ebooks through the iPad Voice Over features.
Version 1.39 was released in mid-September, and fixed a problem with the app crashing on some iOS devices.
