bear asleepHere is a Cave
(bend fingers to form cave)
Inside is a bear
(put thumb inside fingers)
Now he comes out
(thumb out)
To get some fresh air
He stays out all summer
In sunshine and heat
He hunts in the forest
For berries to eat
(move thumb in circle)
When snow starts to fall
He hurries inside
His warm little cave
(thumb in)
And there he will hide
Snow covers the cave
Like a fluffy white rug.
(cover with other hand)
Inside the bear sleeps
All cozy and snug.

Five puppies in the beddog jump
And the little one said
“Roll over, roll over,”
So they all rolled over and one fell out . . .
One puppy in the bed
And the little one said,
“I’m lonely!”
So they all jumped in
And the little one said,
“All right!  Good night!”

This little mouse is ready for bed
Down on the pillow he lays his head
Wraps himself up in the covers so tight
Closes his eyes and says “Good night!”
Morning comes.  He jumps out of bed.
Then he puts on his clothes
        and his hat on his head
And goes to the kitchen
And eats his bread.

Are you sleeping, are you sleeping

Morning bells are ringing,

Ding dang dong

See the little bunnies sleeping
Till it's nearly noon
I will go and wake them
With a merry tune
Oh how still!
Are they ill?
Wake   up    soon!

Up above the world so high
Like a diamond in the sky

Then the traveler in the dark
Thanks you for your tiny spark
He could not see where to go
If you did not twinkle so

Often through my curtains peep

Till the sun is in the sky
