Please note: The stretch of Route 370 (Second Street) directly in front of the library is under construction. Please allow extra travel time and/or find alternate routes to the library. There will be no parking available on Route 370. You may find parking in our garage and on Tulip and other surrounding streets. Thanks for your patience!

LPL Budget Vote Today

Today (Tuesday, May 19), taxpayers in the Liverpool Central School District can vote on Liverpool Public Library’s 2.63% budget increase for the 2026–2027 operating year. Also on the ballot is an open Board of Trustee position.

2025 Highlights at LPL
• Launched our Mobile Library, bringing books, resources, and programs directly to underserved neighborhoods, schools, senior residences, and community events.
• Debuted our Civics Hub, offering non-biased resources, events, books, films, and activities on timely civic topics.
• Hosted 1,000+ events and activities to educate, inspire, and engage patrons of all ages.
• Partnered with amazing local organizations including LCSD, Onondaga County Parks, Erie Canal Museum, Onondaga Historical Association, and many more to better serve our community.

What?- The proposed 2026-2027 Liverpool Public Library Budget
When?- Tuesday, May 19 from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Where?- In the LCSD District Office at 195 Blackberry Road.
This is the same time and place as the Liverpool Central School District vote, but the library is an independent entity and has a separate line on the ballot.
