Notice of Major Sidewalk Construction
PLEASE NOTE: Beginning August 17, the sidewalk in front of the Second Street Entrance (Route 370) will be under major construction through early September.
During this time, we will remain open as usual; however, the Second Street entrance will be CLOSED. Those patrons needing stroller- or wheelchair-friendly access should park in the library’s underground parking garage and use the public elevator.
We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Tie Dye on the Lawn Event Rescheduled!
Due to sidewalk construction, our Tie Dye on the Lawn event has been rescheduled from Tuesday, Aug. 18 to Saturday, Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Join us on the new date for all the same colorful fun and creativity! We hope to see you there.

Free 2-day Science Camp For Tweens!
Calling all students entering grades 6–8! Join us for an exciting 2-day Earth Science Camp on Thursday, Aug. 13 & Friday, Aug. 14 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• You'll meet local experts from organizations like the Gem & Mineral Society and New York State Parks & Recreation as you travel through Earth's geological timeline.
• Field Trip Alert! Explore Clark Reservation State Park, identify fossils, and uncover the glacial history that shaped Glacier Lake!
Lunch is provided on Day 1. Please pack a lunch for the field trip on Day 2.
For students entering grades 6–8 • Attendance is required both days!
