The Liverpool Public Library creates transformative opportunities for discovery, lifelong learning, growth, and connection so our community can thrive and flourish now and into the future.

So all can discover, learn, and grow.

• Inspire and facilitate critical thinking, lifelong learning, and multiple literacies
• Celebrate a community of diverse readers by offering a broad representation of cultures and viewpoints in collections and activities
• Amplify hands-on, experiential learning for all ages
• Deepen activities and collections focused on early literacy
• Expand services promoting digital competency

Supporting Connection and Communication:

So community members can be met where they are.

• Facilitate opportunities for civic and social connection for current and future generations
• Extend access to library resources and services by engaging with the community in new locations and in innovative ways
• Strengthen presence in northern parts of service area
• Expand accessibility to online resources and technology
• Explore new communication methods for internal and external use
• Position staff to be viewed as trusted community ambassadors
