Celebrate the Holidays with the Onyx Clarinet Quartet

Onyx Clarinet QuartetThe Carman Community Room will be full of holiday spirit on Sunday, Dec. 9.

The musicians in the Onyx Clarinet Quartet will make sure of that.

They promise a set of music to wrap up the Fall Music Series: From Bluegrass to Polka to Holiday Favorites series that will touch on many traditions.

"The performance will include a wide variety of holiday music, including a Hanukah Suite, a Christmas Jazz Suite, popular holiday tunes and traditional international carols, all set in various musical styles," says Laurel Dobmeier.

Dobmeier, a music educator in the Baldwinsville School District, will be joined for the set by fellow Baldwinsville educator Terryann Gerber, and Alan Woy and Roxanne Woy, educators from the Rochester area.

The event is free.

The series is presented in partnership with the Liverpool Is the Place Committee and made possible by a grant secured by Senator John A. DeFrancisco.

Here’s a video of the third concert of the series, by the New Leaf Ensemble:
