Commemorate Juneteenth at the LPL with Storyteller Vanessa Johnson
Vanessa Johnson will share stories in the LPL's Carman Community Room starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16, that will help anybody who participates in her session relate to her passions that tie to Juneteenth.

Johnson will share traditional tales from Africa, African American culture and the African diaspora.
Vanessa Johnson considers herself a griot, a West African storyteller, historian, praise singer, poet or musician.
