New Year New Reading Goals
Reading challenges are popular at the beginning of any new year. Challenges encourage readers and non-readers alike to step outside their reading comfort zone to try a new author, genre or format, or simply read a book that has languished unread on a home bookshelf.
To support personal reading goals, the Liverpool Public Library is welcoming community members to participate in an Adult Winter Reading Challenge, an online program for avid readers and those who want to increase their reading time or the number of books they read (or listen to!). Now through Tuesday, Feb. 28, readers can register at LPL.org to log their books and pages, enjoy fun activities, and enter to win prizes. The LPL Adult Winter Reading Challenge allows readers the flexibility to complete a designated number of books or helps participants set aside a portion of their day to read. There is no wrong way to participate in the LPL reading challenge.
