There are certain days in U.S. history when everybody over a certain age can tell you where they were when THE event happened.
For this generation, 9/11 will never leave that list.
It's been 20 years since the Twin Towers toppled in lower Manhattan on Sept. 11, 2001.
The horror of the news enveloped the nation, sights, sounds, horrifying consequences and resulting reactions.
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum has put together Sept. 11, 2011: The Day That Changed the World to recall, review and reflect.
The LPL will present this exhibit via a power point on a monitor running continuously in the teen/magazine area of the main room through September. Visit, pull up a seat, gather your memories and thoughts.
