Will getting my holds take longer?
Holds may take longer, but starting Monday, April 26, materials returned no longer need to be quarantined per national recommendations, so you may see them on the shelves and removed from your account faster.
What if I want to pick up my holds at LPL, but I chose another library as my pick-up location?
If the materials you’d like to check out are available at LPL, please call the library or cancel your existing hold and place another hold in the reservation system and select LPL as your pick-up location.

What is the library doing to protect the safety of patrons and library staff?
The contactless curbside pick-up model we are using provides maximum social distancing for the safety of our patrons and our staff. Staff will follow Onondaga County workplace safety policy and CDC guidelines.
Patrons and staff should not approach one another and respect the need for social distancing. This may feel uncomfortable but is necessary to provide a safe, contactless pick-up service. If you notice patrons at the pick-up table, please remain in your vehicle until the previous patron has departed.
All patrons and staff are required to wear a mask when using Grab It & Go: LPL Garage Holds Pick Up service.
What other libraries are offering Curbside Pick-up?
Other libraries are currently offering a similar service, check with individual libraries for more information.
