Feel Good about Donating Mittens, Toys in the LPL Main Room
'Tis the Season to spread holiday cheer to the community.
My weekly column for the Eagle News Online/Star Review points out that patrons can bring new and handmade mittens, gloves, hats and scarves and leave them on or under The Mitten Tree through Dec. 18 or unwrapped toys and place them in the festively decorated box through Dec. 9.
The donation drives are happening in the LPL main room.
The donated mittens, gloves, hats and scarves are piling up on and under The Mitten Tree.
New, unwrapped toys will be brought to the Salvation Army drop-off day.
