Reading Buddies is a Liverpool Public Library program to help students entering grades 1 - 4 improve their reading skills by working one-on-one with a trained Reading Buddy. Reading Buddies are teens selected from the Liverpool Central School District Career and Technical Education Child Development Program.

During each 50-minute meeting in the library, the Reading Buddies will play word games, read books, and help your child select books based on their reading level. Reading Buddies are trained by LCSD teachers and will be supervised by a teacher or librarian.

Please register for the session and time that works best for you. Each session meets 6 times in the Studio room at LPL.

If you want to add your child to a waitlist for one of the closed sessions, please email Joellyn.Murry@lpl.org.
