How to use ‘Pool Pass on the Liverpool Public Library website:

• Visit www.LPL.org.
• When prompted to enter your library card number, use the prefix POOLS in front of your Liverpool Central School District lunch pin.
• If attending Liverpool High School, use POOLSHS in front of your lunch pin.
• When asked for a PIN, use your birthdate in a MM/DD/YY format. A number is not required for single digit days or months. For example, a birthdate of Jan. 4, 2013 would have a pin of 1413.

What is the ‘Pool Pass Program?

‘Pool Pass is a new partnership between the Liverpool Central School District and the Liverpool Public Library. The program offers students a virtual library card, which grants them access to a variety of services at the Liverpool Public Library and through the LPL website.

With ‘Pool Pass, students can:

• Borrow up to three physical items.
• Download eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines.
• Access digital resources such as homework help, newspapers, and reference books.

• Utilize streaming services, including hoopla, when a valid email address is added to the student library account.

• Place holds at Liverpool Public Library, provided the student has given the library their email address or phone number. Students may call the library at 315-457-0310 for assistance with this process.
• Use computers in the library.

How does the program work?

Students will be automatically enrolled in ‘Pool Pass, unless a caregiver chooses to opt-out of this service.

How can I use my virtual card?

To use your card, visit www.LPL.org. When prompted to enter your library card number, use the prefix POOLS in front of your lunch pin. If attending Liverpool High School, use POOLSHS in front of your lunch pin.

If you do not want your student to have access to Liverpool Public Library resources, you may opt-out using this form. You may return the form to your students teacher or in person at the Liverpool Public Library.
