Liverpool Public Library 2008/2009 Budget and Voting Information |
At the March 5, 2008 meeting of the board of trustees of the Liverpool Public Library, the Board approved the first draft of the 2008/2009 budget that will be voted on by school district residents on May 20, 2008.
The new proposed budget calls for expenditures of $3,718,350 and a tax levy of $3,356,550. The increase in the tax levy is 2.99% over last year.
ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS
One board of trustees member will be elected this year for a five year term. Information on trustee petitions is available from the library director or the office of the superintendent of schools.

Learn how to use library resources for business planning, industry
trends, market research, direct marketing and more. Basic computer
experience is required.
Monday, May 19, Business Plans 101
Who needs a business plan? What are they used for and what information
goes into a business plan? These questions will be answered by
presenter Art Holben, a long time member and Past President of Syracuse
SCORE, who has counseled small businesses and start-ups for over 16
years.
All programs run from 6-8 p.m. in the Carman Community Room.

The Klatch meets in the Sargent Meeting Room at
11 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of the month.

June 26 – No Regular Meeting – Informal gathering at Starbucks on Rt. 57 to share books of choice.

New Releases at the Liverpool Public Library |

Newly-released films are shown monthly at a matinee on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. and repeated on Thursday evening at 6:15 p.m. in the Carman Community Room. There is no admission charge and everyone is welcome.
