As we enter the warmer seasons of 2021, our StoryWalk placards are again going up on the Dinosaur Garden Lawn located on the Second Street side of the LPL.
Staffers from our Children's and Family Services department change the story weekly.
Generations of readers appreciate walking safely together long the accessible path on the lawn to enjoy the picture story books.
With nine new acquisitions this year, we now have 27 different stories!
The Soule Road complex in the Liverpool Central School district has agreed to host a StoryWalk starting this April, too. We're changing those out in their courtyard adjacent to the school library every week.
When June rolls around, StoryWalks travel to Onondaga Lake Park, too.
Onondaga County Parks welcomes the feature at both ends of the facility.
Park-goers can find a StoryWalk near Wegmans Playground on the Tuesdays of our Storytime in the Park events.
They also can enjoy StoryWalk on certain days in the Willow Bay section of the park.
We alert patrons to the set up on our social media and right here on LPL.org.
